Provocative is a zine based out of New Orleans, and uncovers the city we love. Many, but not all of the contributors currently attend or are alumnis of Loyola University. Different from most zines, this one is based off of each contributor's idea of the word PROVOCATIVE.
The zine is divided into sections:
The Nola Observer, which includes reporting, Tall Tell Tales, which is creative writing, An Art of Mind, which covers
a variety of art around the city, and Extra Goodies, which is a compilation on random articles, art and ideas. The zine is FREE and is distributed quarterly. Copies can be found in most coffee and book shops around New Orleans. We are always looking for more contributors. Please email prozines@gmail.com if you are interested.
Also since the zine is FREE we are now looking for advertisements (companies that we agree wtih) to help pay for the cost of printing. We print around 200 copies, four times a year. But if we have help we will print as many as we can.
